Gretchen was involved in "The Philadelphia Experiment", a week-long workshop which brought students into Philadelphia's urban core to take in and express visually the Benjamin Franklin Bridge. Her work, along with all other participants, hung in the Temple Gallery for six weeks in March.
In 2006, Gretchen collaborated with author Robert Fulghum, and created 20 paintings that would be used as illustrations for his novel, Third Wish Granted, Vols. IV and V. The novel is currently available on Amazon, as well as Amazon KindleTM.
Ten years later, Third Wish is now an international bestseller and has been published in the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Hungary, and is due to be released throughout multiple countries in Europe and Asia.
