"City" is a word that includes more than just buildings and hectic. It feels more like people and relationship - this is the context that adds flavor and texture, both to my life and to my paintings.

So how does one make buildings and streets provocative? You tell the story of relationships that exist between the city and its humanity, but within the context of color and light, structure and space, movement and rhythm.

My invitation to the viewer is that somehow these paintings will speak to that relationship in you.
